organized collection of remixes from Stickverse Hexalogy by SodaMas

these remixes were made over the span of over half a year; december 2023 to july 2024 on-and-off juggling music w/ my community college classes

manipulations & exaggerations of stickverse tracks; breakbeats become acid breakcore, guitars become metal, dark techno becomes noisy industrial techno etc.

this warping seeks to match the exaggerated cartoon lines of the visual images of the original stickverse

i found musical development within myself becoming increasingly more comfortable live-recording my real instruments (guitar&bass&synth) and integrating them

i also found development in creating concepts with any instrument at my disposal at a given moment, not just a DAW on a shitty lenovo laptop

elsewhere in the visual realm i used this project as an opportunity of re-defining designs from a different perspective; an album cover with a visual identity owed to the original stickverse hexalogy cover, but with its own role regardless, different from where it springs out of

after a large uncommitted creative slump in summer 2023, to have followed through and completed this project is much refreshing
