Emily Dickinson has written;
<< Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul And sings the tune without the words And never stops at all. >>
Apparently, Woody Allen has said;
<<How wrong Emily Dickinson was! Hope is not "the thing with feathers." The thing with feathers has turned out to be my nephew. I must take him to a specialist in Zurich.>>
Meanwhile, in native American culture a feather is a powerful symbol of honor, trust and wisdom, that signifies the connection between the Creator, the owner and the bird from which the feather came. While each type of feather seems to represent something different, it is the eagle’s feather that is most respected.
You may have found a feather a few days ago. Or a feather may arrive at your door tomorrow. Who knows? If so, you may contemplate on what it means to you.
